One Final Workshop to Define What Really Matters

Hi Reader

This week was full. But not just busy—it was productive, too. And let’s face it: those two don’t always go hand in hand. We’ve all had those weeks where activity doesn’t equal progress. But this time things just clicked.

Here are a few things I’m excited to share with you:

🎧 Self-Managed Organizations: A Model That Works

I had a fascinating conversation with Veiko Valkiainen—leadership coach, podcast host, and one of the most thoughtful voices on self-managed organizations. These are organizations with no traditional managers. You read that right—no bosses hovering over you, no bottlenecks.

Instead:

• Every role holder acts like a mini-CEO.

• Teams make decisions collaboratively.

• Everyone’s accessible for feedback, but no one tells you what to do.

It’s not theory. I’ve seen it. I’ve done it. Years ago, I was involved in transforming a traditional organization into a flatter, more self-managed one. And as a result we didn’t just improve—we quadrupled our performance. And it wasn’t top-down. Every single team member—regardless of title—put their energy, time, and expertise into making it happen.

📅 Final Session: Create Your Personal Strategy (April 29)

Over the past few weeks, I’ve run this workshop a couple of times—and each time, it’s been something special.

Here’s what people have said:

“Very helpful. Really enjoyed the session.”
“When you share openly with other people your values and your views and what you want to do, that gives more commitment for you to do it as well.”
“It’s nice to look at your goals from different angles and perspectives.”
“Thank you for giving this space to us.”

And now? April 29 is the final round.

I won’t be running this workshop again.

So if you’ve been curious, now’s the moment. Join this last, live 90-minute session to:

✅ Clarify your identity, values, and what matters most

✅ Build a step-by-step plan for your personal and professional goals

✅ Cut through distraction and focus on your real priorities

✅ Create sustainable habits to stay on track

If you’ve been meaning to take the time to really think about what’s next—this is your invitation.

🔴 LinkedIn Live: Strategic Career Development (April 22)

I’m also thrilled to invite you to a LinkedIn Live conversation I’m hosting on April 22 about strategic career development, building a personal brand, and how to use LinkedIn to support both.

Joining me is Marianna Inozemtseva, Founder of Linkifyo and a true expert in helping B2B tech and marketing leaders attract quality leads and talent through LinkedIn.

Marianna has been doing thought leadership and social selling before it even had a name—and now she leads a team doing it at scale. If you’ve ever wondered how to:

• Find your voice online

• Attract the right audience

• Build a brand that drives real business results

…this is the conversation you won’t want to miss.

If you’re feeling like it’s time to take control of your career, clarify your direction, or simply get re-inspired—these events are for you.

As always, I’d love for you to forward this to a friend who could benefit from it, or hit reply and tell me what resonated with you this week.

Wishing you clarity, progress, and maybe even a little white space on your calendar. 😉

Warmly,

Daria

Hi Reader, Today, I want to tell you about the AI learning paradox. I've been noticing it lately, and you might have seen that as well. The people who are most worried about AI (the ones convinced it's coming for their jobs) are usually the last ones to learn it. You'd think it would go the other way. If you're afraid AI might replace you, the smart move is to get good at it. To make yourself the person who uses it well, not the person it makes redundant. But that's not what happens. The fear...

Hi Reader, Last week I was presenting at WebExpo in Prague — talking about the good and bad of human–AI collaboration. After my talk, one of the attendees came up to me and asked: "How do I know if my team is using AI in the right way?" It's an interesting question because, as I've written before, there is a right and a wrong way of using AI. Research suggests that when AI comes first — when people receive a summary, a draft, or an insight before doing their own thinking — their brains...

Hi Reader! Daria's here Last week, a client told me she had 14 meetings in a single day. By the time she finished walking me through the list, I could feel the weight of it. Client calls, one-on-ones, project updates — all back to back, with no time for coffee (or anything else, to be honest) in between. It's a familiar scene for most leaders I know. And I'm no better, I've had that picture as well. Our calendars are packed. We move from meeting to meeting, from decision to decision, without...
